Mission Statement

Musica Spei is a choral chamber ensemble that explores medieval and renaissance sacred and secular choral music in an inclusive, collaborative fashion, bringing this repertoire to modern audiences through performances, education, and community sings.

We believe that:

• As performers and individuals, we all benefit from diverse and inclusive perspectives, spiritualities, and identities.

• Mutual respect and support are essential to rehearsing and performing together.

• Sharing responsibility for interpretation and directing among group members results in making music much greater than the sum of its parts.
